**Description**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced project officer to join our team to deliver the Money and Me project across Wolverhampton. Money and Me is funded by the household support fund and aims to help people across Wolverhampton build financial resilience, tackle the financial barriers they face to gaining and sustaining employment, access education and training, and take a full and active role in their local community.

With your proven experience of working in deprived communities you will help people who have been disproportionately impacted by the cost of living crisis to regain control of their finances and ensure that they are maximising income.

Money Mentor - Money and Me job description

As part of this role you will:

- Support delivery of group and 1:1 outreach/drop in sessions;
- Work at a variety of community locations including schools, libraries & Family Hubs.
- Identify financial wellbeing status and provide support;
- Deliver financial capability training;
- Raise awareness of the programme amongst communities and other organisations.

You must have an understanding of the financial barriers facing people from deprived communities and experience of working with vulnerable groups.

**Requirements**:

- **Full Uk Driving license and a vehicle are essential**:

- Post will require a Full DBS check to be completed if successful
