Maintenance Supervisor / Facilities Coordinator

Ross on Wye

ABT Loadmac, a leading UK manufacturer of marker leading products are looking for a maintenance supervisor/facilities coordinator. This is a new role so there will be the chance to stamp your own authority into a crucial role within the business and a chance to develop your career.

This job will be well suited to those from either a production maintenance position or a facilities maintenance position in a manufacturing setting. Those with leadership experience and those looking to move into a role with more responsibility will be considered.

The Facilities Coordinator/Maintenance supervisor will be responsible for:

- The development, implementation and maintenance of the Company’s Facility Management Plan and associated annual department budgets
- Ensuring the site’s ongoing compliance with all Statutory and legal obligations with respect to Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability requirements.
- Maintaining and updating all relevant Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work relating to facilities maintenance, renovations and upgrades.
- Responsible for the identification, selection and management of all third-party contractors responsible for the maintenance of the Company’s facilities and equipment.
- Accountable and responsible for the development and management of the department’s annual plan and budget in support of the Company’s business plans.#
- Responsible for the development and implementation of the Company’s Facilities Management Systems (FMS) and the generation of Standards, Policies, Procedures and KPI’s.
- Accountable and responsible for the timely completion of all inspections, audits, permits and certification and for ensuring equipment, systems and processes are maintained in accordance with the Company’s Standards, Statutory and Legislative requirements at all times.
- Responsible for the leadership, motivation and development of the Facilities team; and for managing performance through the setting of challenging objectives and targets.

Qualifications and Experience
- Recognised Technical or FM qualification, such as HNC/HND or equivalent in Building Services / Electrical Engineering.
- Previous experience of Facilities Management, ideally in an industrial environment
- Sound knowledge of Statutory and Mandatory Compliance with experience of preparing for external audits
- Experience of managing specialist contractors.
- IOSH Managing safely
