Extrusion Machine Operator

**Extrusion Machine Operator for automated Production process (plastics)**

Required: Machine Operator who working on a production line - site specific training of plant and machinery will provided by experienced personnel.

Working a rotating shift pattern of 12 hour shifts:
3 days on, 3 days OFF - 3 nights on, 3 nights off - 3 days on, 3 days OFF.

You will need to ensure efficiency and quality control of production, keeping within the company’s Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.

**Requirements**:

- Physically fit.
- RELIABLE
- Experienced in similar manufacturing industry
- Experienced in shift working with strong interpersonal skills and high levels of self-motivation
- Ensuring the extrusion machinery is set up and running effectively and efficiently in safe working order
- Monitoring equipment, assisting with any maintenance needs
- Performance management
- Able to work safely at all times and taking pride in their work
- Reliable, have an excellent communication, timekeeping and attendance record
- Capable of working within a high demand, fast paced manufacturing environment
- ILM level 3 (desirable but not essential)
- FLT licence ideally

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
