Kitchen Assistant

Lennox Lodge are looking for a kitchen assistant to join our small and friendly Residential Care Home in Bexhill.

You will be responsible for maintaining the the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen, according to current health and food hygiene legislation.

Responsibilities include:

- Cleaning of designated areas, sweeping and mopping floors
- Clean fridges, shelving, food preparation areas, cupboards and trolleys
- Prepare the dishwasher
- Wash cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware and once cleaned, place on designated shelves and trolleys
- Receive deliveries and put away in the correct areas
- Prepare breakfast for residents
- Assist the chef with the lunches
- To comply with all hygiene and health and safety regulations
- To be able to work on own initiative

Hours of work
- Week One
- Wednesday 8-4, Thursday 8-4

Week Two
- Monday 8-4, Tuesday 8-4, Saturday 8-4, Sunday 8-4

**Salary**: £8.00-£10.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends only

**Experience**:

- Catering: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
