Due to sustained growth, we have an opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our client on their journey. The client are a manufacturing business who supply flavours and colourings to the Bakery, Confectionary, Beverage, Agriculture and Nutritionsectors.

We're looking for someone who has the ability and experience to:

- Carry out routine/emergency maintenance on, conveyors, sensors/switches, Siemens PLC's, pumps, steam generation plants, compressed air systems, shrink wrappers & palletisers
- Experience in beverage manufacturing/production FMCG environment
- Carry out maintenance in accordance with PPM schedule within time frames given using CMMS system
- Respond quickly and efficiently to break downs to ensure rapid turnaround
- Ensure all site equipment is compliant with all HSE regulation
- Get involved with CI & project work
- Get involved and liaise with external contractors, issuing permits and inductions

**Expectations**
- To maintain working conditions and equipment to standards set by the Company, enforcing policies & reporting any issues.
- Upkeep hygiene and workplace standards within department, ensuring PPE, Personal Hygiene and H&S rules and regulations are always enforced.
- Use initiative & engage for continuous improvement, undergoing training on a regular basis
- Interact with fellow employees in a civil manner.
- To carry out procedures which safeguard themselves and the health and safety of other staff.
- To record all required information on relevant documentation.
- To abide by the company rules and conditions relating to time keeping, break times, absenteeism, illness, and holiday leave etc.

**Qualifications**
- Time served Electrical Apprenticeship including NVQ 3
- Educated to HNC/HND level in Electrical Engineering
- A sound understanding of Mechanical Engineering and fault finding

**Desirable**
- City & Guilds 17th Edition
- LEAN qualifications
- Steam boiler experience/BOAS qualified

**Shift Patterns**
- Shifts are on a 4 on / 4 off rota with a mixture of days and nights
- 07:00 - 19:00 or 19:00 - 07:00
