This is a great opportunity for a marketeer who is looking to join a company that has plans for growth in current, new and emerging categories. Carroll's is the number 1 brand in the Republic of Ireland for Cooked Meats, Ready Meals and Garlic Bread in theirrespective categories. Cookstown is the second biggest brand in Northern Ireland.
- Manage compliance of BRC, BORD BIA, HACCP, Karro group and customer food standards
- Lead all site activities to prevent and control all non-conformances
- Completion of internal, group and customer reports
- Identify, review and implement improvements of the QMS on a planned and systematic frequency
- Management of Internal Auditing Systems
- Lead 3rd party customer and regulatory audits for the site
- Engage with the NPD and Quality teams ensuring that product development trials and activities are introduced and managed in a controlled fashion
- Drive and promote a culture of Quality excellence and continuous improvement across the organisation
- Develop and deliver a programme of continuous improvement initiatives that delivers on Quality and organisational objectives
- Manage and maintain the ISO14001 system in the company.
- Third level degree qualification in a scientific food discipline and equivalent experience within the food industry. Knowledge of auditing, quality standards and systems, quality management techniques such as HACCP, Process Control and knowledge of foodlegislation.
- Familiarity with retailer specification management platforms an advantage.
- Excellent communication & organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills Self-motivated and an ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships between the quality function and other functions.
- Competency in MS Office to include word and excel.
