**Salary**: £45,000 per annum

As they continue to expand their operations, they are on the lookout for a dynamic individual to join their team and play a pivotal, system-focused role in maintaining seamless inventory operations.
Role Overview:
As the Inventory & Supplier Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of the coordination between suppliers, inventory management, and the warehouse team. Your role, though involving close collaboration with the warehouse, will primarily be office and system-based, leveraging your excellent IT skills to ensure efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of stock components, employing your system-based expertise.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory and reconcile stock valuation monthly.
- Partner with the procurement coordinator to make informed purchasing decisions, optimising stock levels through data-driven insights.
- Utilise your negotiation skills to secure competitive prices and identify new suppliers as needed.
- Provide timely system-generated updates to the warehouse team regarding upcoming deliveries.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the management team, using your IT skills to streamline processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in stock control and purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional IT skills, which are vital for this primarily system-based role.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced setting, managing pressure with poise.
- Previous exposure to high-growth business environments is advantageous.
- Outstanding negotiation and communication abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and familiarity with the furniture manufacturing sector.
- Possession of a CIPS qualification is a plus.
Additional Details:
- Location: This role is based at our Hemel Hempstead office.
- Working Hours: You'll be expected to work 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (07:30-16:30).
Measuring Success:
- Decreased instances of non-conformances from stock purchasing.
- High achievement rate (95%) for on-time goods delivery.
- Responsible management of purchasing costs to maintain budget.
- Timely completion of accurate monthly stock valuation.
**Job Type**: Permanent
**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
