An SEN school in the Ipswich area have an opportunity tailored for individuals wanting to work in an educational setting and gain experience. As well as individuals who are looking to develop their previous experience in the education or youth sector.

You will be offered training in this position and fully prepared for your role. It is to work with a small group of pupils requiring extra support on-site at a mainstream school.

**Job description**:

- Interacting with SEN pupils on a personal level, assisting them with their social, emotional, and educational goals.
- Assisting with the personalised learning and aiding the progress of the pupils
- Communicating professionally with other staff members in order to facilitate the safeguarding, well-being and progress of the pupils.
- Working with pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- After Easter start - Long Term & Full Time
- £75-£90 per day.
- Located in the Bury St Edmunds area
- Working hours are 8:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday

- A kind and reliant individual with a passion for working with SEN pupils.
- You will need to be a good role model, proactive and empathic individual.
- Be flexible to changing situations, be calm and make good decisions.
- Able to positively contribute to the pupils day and school environment
- Be an energetic team player able to care for and look after SEN pupils.
- Understand the individuality of every pupil and cater to their needs.

The role offers the chance to shadow professional of relevant fields such as Counsellors, Music Therapists, Art Therapists, Occupational Therapists, SEN Sports coaches, Safeguarding officers and many more.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Graduate
Part-time hours: 6-35 per week

**Salary**: £75.00-£90.00 per day
