WHAT TO EXPECT

To shape and ensure our customers’ needs are at the centre of everything we do within JLR as we move towards a future connected, electrified and autonomous world, ensuring interior and exterior practicality, occupant and posture, roominess, ease of ingress - egress, exterior vision and HMI interactions including clearance/vision/efforts/reach etc

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to On cycle programme gateway timing for Human Factors content
- Panel charts, DOORS, RTC, JIRA, AIMS and all other programme metrics maintained and kept up to date
- Identify and manage departmental resource requirements in support of cycle plan and programmes. Ensure that the right resource is one each programme at the right time
- Deploy Agile cadence that ensures all technical issues and validation progressed in most effective way, including JIRA, AIMs and RTC
- Responsible for develop team training matrix / plan / objectives
- Support SMEs as required to ensure all technical issues identified and resolved
- To be the lead for all critical / escalated technical issues
- Assess test and development activities to ensure Attribute sign-off and efficient delivery
- Develop potential process improvement / lessons learnt ideas into HF ABR off cycle activity
- Drive department completion of all Quality tasks including JDP IQS and CQI verbatim / roadmaps

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

**Essential**:

- Specialist knowledge of ergonomics, human factors and user interface design
- Ability to develop strategies, analyse future trends, and forecasting
- An understanding of the scientific theories and principles that relate to interface design.
- Ability to communicate concepts and issues clearly at all levels of the business
- Self-starter able to sustain a high, multitask workload
- Ability to benchmark, analyse data and draw appropriate conclusions
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
- A clear understanding of Agile principles and ability to balance the on (programme delivery) and off cycle workload (BoK, tools, processes and technology roadmaps)
