Home Care Worker

We are a home care agency providing all aspects of care and support which enables our clients to stay in their own homes as independently as possible. This includes all aspects of personal care e.g. showering/full body wash, dressing, toileting, assistance with medication and meals, night settling visits.

Each client is assessed on need and allocated time for their care to be provided. This is usually around 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes.

Our rounds are either double up which means there would be two care workers required or a single round which requires only one care worker.
We are currently only recruiting for drivers and staff that have their own vehicle.
Shift times vary depending on the area. However, generally a morning shift could run from 7am until 1.30pm and an evening shift could run from 4pm until 10pm.

We have support work available also which would be either one or two care workers. Supporting a service user to participate in social outings or simply offering companionship.

Must be willing to achieve the SVQ Level 2 or 3 Health and Social Care for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). New staff must register with the Scottish Social Services Council within 6 months of starting with the company.

Pay: £12.62-£15.12 per hour

Expected hours: 37 - 48 per week
