**Due to exceptional demand, we are looking to increase our team at** **the Vale Resort and are currently recruiting for a Casual Greenkeeper.**

The Vale Resort is an Award Winning, Four Star Hotel, comprising of a 143 bedroom with five food outlets, two championship golf courses, and Wales’ largest spa, health, and racquets club. We also offer state of the art sporting facilities and host top-flight international and club teams. Recent expansion of our Resort includes Hensol Castle, transformed into a luxury and unique wedding and events venue, proving extremely popular. Recent renovation of the Grade I listed Castle has now opened 20 luxury bedrooms along with award winning Distillery, gin school and visitor attraction tucked away in the cellar.

**About the Role**:
Working as part of the Golf team you will ensure our Golf Courses and surrounding estates are maintained to the highest possible standards. Duties to include;
- Mowing turf using tractors, ride-on machines and specialist hand mowers.
- Treating turf to ensure consistent playing surfaces.
- Renovating and maintaining bunkers and other hazards such as water features.
- Removing early morning dew and debris from the greens.
- Repairing wear and tear caused by golfers and animals.
- Attending to drainage problems.
- Cutting new holes on greens.
- Planting and pruning trees and shrubs as required.
- Operating and maintaining machinery and tools
- Work with the assistant head greenkeeper in the modernization and changes on both courses.

Shift times: 6am - 2.30pm Monday to Friday and every other weekend 6am-9am
