**VACANCY: Design Draughts Person**

**LOCATION**:Kilmarnock, KA1**

Glenfield Invicta’s end to end Project Solutions provide market leading valve, penstock and engineering site solutions excellence across a multitude of Utility and Non-Utility infrastructure projects.

We are looking for a Design Draughts Person to join our Engineering team in Kilmarnock. Someone who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and producing and checking engineering drawings using both 2D and 3D CAD systems (Solidworks & AutoCAD). You will be required to plan, control and undertake day-to-day engineering tasks for allocated projects as well as supporting our Business Development Managers for technical / drawing requirements. You will be required to work to project specifications and agreed timescales to the required technical accuracy.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Modify existing product drawings
- Create new product drawings as per Engineers requests
- Create detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing equipment
- Supply technical assistance for customer's questions
- Maintain existing drawing system
- Propose any changes or modifications to existing systems
- To create part numbers on Navision systems in line with AVK Logical Numbering System (LNS)
- Generation of Bill of Materials, General Arrangement drawings and component detail drawings
- To carry out calculations and FEA in support of the above
- Produce and maintain standard product documentation including O&Ms

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Demonstrable experience gained in a similar role
- 2D and 3D cad Systems experience
- AutoCAD and Solidworks experience
- Background designing / drawing
- Quality in your work produced and a passion for excellent customer service

**WORKING HOURS**:

- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday - Thursday 0830-1700
- Friday 0830-1500
