Due to company growth and to be in line with the client’s strategy and budgetary commitments, our client is seeking a Store Team Leader to take on the responsibility of controlling stock accuracy, developing required processes, to manage stock movement andmanage the logistic team to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements as well as driving culture of continuous improvement to ensure all warehouse discipline are in line with lean approach.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- To assume overall responsibility for warehouse activities.
- Maintain stock control in line with company policy and procedure.
- Engage with warehouse operatives to encourage best practice and understand any issues that preventing smooth running of all logistic activities.
- Take full accountabilities for all elements of goods in, stock management, control, inventory management and stock take processes.
- Preform picking operations within designated area to ensure safety and performance are maintained in-line with company expectations and targets.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure that goods are received and stored appropriately.
- Coordinate and monitor the receipt of goods.
- Ensure spare parts orders are picked and despatched in a timely manner.
- Ensure goods are packed in a safe and sustainable way and despatched in a controlled manner using the approved courier networks.
- Ensure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met.
- Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate.
- Lead and develop companywide stock take alongside cycle counts.
- Prepare information and KPIs and report regularly to senior management regarding all elements of stock and inventory control, spare part delivery and despatches.
- Take appropriate action to ensure any system or facility issues are resolved in timely manner and solutions are permanent.
- Previous experience of working within the warehouse environment is essential.
- Previous experience manging inventory control processes, leading companywide stock takes, designing and implementing cycle counting processes.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Be able to lead change, engage and communicate to the team across all levels of the business.
- Be able to identify and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload.
- Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
