Draughtsman/woman

TEXO Recruitment are sourcing for an experienced Draughtsman to join our external client for work in Westhill, Aberdeen.

As draughtsperson you will be responsible for issuing engineering drawings to allow accurate costing and manufacture:

- Creation of detailed hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics suitable for manufacture
- Assist with the creation of detailed fabrication, machining and assembly drawings suitable for manufacture
- Creation of 2D layouts and sketches
- Creation of detailed 3D models and assemblies
- Generation of Bill of Materials and selection of suitable components
- Communication of design data to project delivery teams, external suppliers and clients as required
- Checking drawings and documents created by other team members
- Coordinate and consult others in the design team and project/manufacturing/SCM teams to resolve design or other problems
- To attend onsite surveys

Experience and Qualifications:

- Skilled with AutoDesk AutoCad
- Experienced with AutoDesk Vault
- Experienced with AutoDesk Inventor
- Able to demonstrate balance of technical and management experience at relevant level and position
- Able to demonstrate track record of implementing theory into practical content/context

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Westhill, Aberdeenshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 1 year (preferred)
