Production Planner

Are you currently working within manufacturing and looking for your next opportunity?

As the Production Planner, you will be responsible for working with production, supply chain and logistics to ensure on time delivery to customers your day to day role will include:

- Managing the changing demand of your customers on a day to day, hour by hour basis
- Managing stock to ensure order fulfilment and end of life cycle products to ensure minimum wastage
- Working with both third-party logistics providers, warehousing and production teams to ensure inventory levels are maintained.
- Working on the business forecast, and current stock position to construct a monthly demand plan
- Analysing and reporting on service level measures
- Working to drive improvement in delivery and operational efficiency.
- Attending client meetings to review service levels

As the Production Planer you will:

- Ideally come from an FMCG background or similar and have experience of working in a past paced, client focused demanding environment
- Have knowledge of production processes and / or supply chain
- Have confident IT skills, any MRP or ERP experience would be of great interest
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Be able to work well under pressure
- Be analytical and able to produce reports in Excel
