**Lead Software Architect -.NET, API, AWS, Microservices - Permanent - Milton Keynes - £85k**

Fast growing, global leader in access solutions are looking for an experienced Lead Software Architect. You'll be part of a global business operating in more than 70 countries, building the latest cloud development solutions.

You will work closely with the Solution Architect, Software Architect, senior developers, and software development management team to identify technologies, architectural patterns and methodologies that can be applied to our software products.

You will be comfortable working across our existing stack for on-premises software and greenfield cloud-based SaaS development.

**Current Tech stack**:

- C# -.NET 4.8 and.NET 6, Entity Framework, ASP.NET MVC, HTML5, Bootstrap, jQuery, WinForms, WPF, WCF and WebAPI2, Docker, Windows & Linux.
- AWS, highly scalable RDBMS/No SQL DB, Elasticsearch, microservices, messaging brokers, PaaS/SaaS, SOA, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and lots more

**The skills and experience required:**
- You’ll be passionate about architecture, code quality and coaching others on best practices, modern principals
- You’ll have a proven track record of delivering complex software solutions, while being an engaging and positive team player
- You will share our passion for agile software development, taking pride and quality in our work.

**Experience**:

- Cloud based software development and Cloud platform experience.
- Be highly experienced with C# and.NET.
- Be comfortable working across the stack.
- AWS, Microservices cloud experience
- Knowledge of working in a DevOps environment and associated tooling.
- Have strong technical experience and expertise.
- Exhibit clear methodical thinking, be a natural problem solver and analytical approach.
- Have a thorough understanding and applied experience of SOLID principals and architectural patterns.
- Show excellent teamworking and communication skills.
- Be analytical, pragmatic, and resourceful, and enthusiastic to get under the skin of what our products are, how they work and the benefits they provide for our customers.
