**The Team**
The Treasury Analyst sits within our EMEA Treasury function, reporting into the EMEA Treasury Manager. Treasury is responsible for managing the Firms' treasury risks including, liquidity, funding, interest rate, foreign currency and counterparty credit.The role will be responsible for day-to-day Treasury operations as well as supporting the EMEA Treasury Manager with more strategic risk management activities.
**The Role**:
- Assist EMEA Treasury Manager to execute tactical strategies for the management of the Firms' currency, interest rate, counterparty credit, liquidity and funding risks within Policy
- Oversee the Treasury Assistant's work to ensure the Firms' liquidity is managed within overdraft and facility limits
- Review the Firms' daily liquidity position and seek short term investment opportunities
- Perform analysis of the Firms' treasury exposures to evaluate the risks and suggest potential strategies that could be used to minimize the impact of these risks
- Maintain Treasury's foreign exchange dashboard by updating it with all new trades executed during the month
- Execute foreign exchange transactions in multiple currencies with the Firms' relationship banks ensuring the most competitive exchange rates are achieved
- Prepare EMEA consolidated monthly cash flow forecasts for use in longer term liquidity planning across the group
- Liaise with the Finance Managers and colleagues in the Firms' international offices regarding their cash forecasts and funding requirements. Execute spot foreign exchange transactions to meet their funding requirements using the FX trading platform 360T
- Review reporting produced by the Treasury Assistant, ensuring a high level of accuracy is maintained
- Manage EMEA wide bank account structure and look for streamlining opportunities to close bank accounts where possible
- Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the Treasury business continuity planning and assess any possible future risks.
- Contribute to ongoing Treasury projects such as the implementation of automated Euro cash sweeps
- Assist EMEA Treasury Manager to manage all UK bank relationships
- Support international office's client proposals by issuing performance and bid guarantees
- Manage online banking systems ensuring there is effective segregation of duties between roles set up on the systems
- Assist EMEA Treasury Manager with any ad-hoc tasks and projects as required
**Skills and Experience**:
- SAP experience would be beneficial
- Educated to a degree level
- We are willing to support studying for the Association of Corporate Treasurers qualification
- Minimum of 2 years Treasury and Cash management experience working for a global firm
- A good understanding of key treasury controls and policies applicable to a global organisation
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- An ability to identify and implement continuous process improvements
- Proactively builds strong relationships with stakeholders
- Excellent client service orientation skills
- Promotes to internal stakeholders Treasury's service offering and expertise
- Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook experience is required
