Vessel & Port Services Apprentice

**About the role**
You will be responsible for arranging and monitoring all arrivals and sailings by DFDS and third-party vessels including customs clearance whilst completing an apprenticeship in International Freight Forwarding Level 3.
- Working Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm
- Ensure that arrangements for ships’ berthings and sailings do not cause any unnecessary delays
- Inform and update other relevant departments of berthing, working, and sailing schedules, using verbal and written methods of communication.
- Carry out all pre-arrival and post sailing function to issue and check all documentation.
- Inform relevant internal departments of all arrivals, berthings and sailings. - Liaise with Pilotage authorities to ensure that all pilotage requirements and standards are met
