Cafe Assistant

We are looking to recruit an experienced café assistant to work in our small friendly team of staff.

**Responsibilities**:
Food preparation & cooking

Making excellent hot drinks, Barista experience preferred

Take customer orders and handle transactions

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe

Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met

Provide excellent customer service

Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies

**Skills**:
Strong leadership & management skills

Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in food preparation and order fulfilment

Experience using EPOS system for customer orders & transactions

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members

Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient service

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £8.50-£10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 35 per week

- Nazeing: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 3 years (preferred)
- customer service: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Level 2 Food Hygiene (preferred)
