We are looking for a team of Advanced Support Workers to support a young man who has recently moved into his own home in Falkirk. This young man has complex needs, including a learning disability and Autism spectrum disorder and receives 2:1 support each day.

Having just moved into his home, this young man's team will help him to build a fantastic life, by providing support to source new activities in his community. He requires support to keep himself safe as he doesn't understand dangerous situations.

In addition, he requires support with:

- Medication administration and Epilepsy management
- Cooking and shopping
- Assisting with personal care
- Maintaining his home and managing finances

There is no set shift pattern in place at this time, however, all members of the team will be required to support on a variety of shifts, including overnight, days, weekends and bank holidays.

**Your values**:
Respect, patience and understanding are key as the young man you'll be supporting is adjusting to a new home environment. It's important to take the time to understand him in order to support him to live a fantastic life as independently as possible.

Prior experience supporting people with complex needs is essential, as this is a new team and we're looking for our Advanced Support Workers to share their knowledge and experience within the team.

Applicants with a SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care would be highly desirable, but it's not essential.
