Nursery Apprentice

**About us**

Little Green House Nursery is a prviate day nursery providing care for children aged 4 months to school age. We have a strong focus on the natural world around us. This is eveident in our everday practise focuing on sustanibilty and natural resources.

We're thrilled to say that our team is growing, and we're now on the lookout for fantastic teacher to join the team.
- Schedule: 30 hours a week
- Holiday: 5.6 weeks per year

MAIN DUTIES
- Plan, organize and execute a wide variety of activities for the children that are suitable to their individual stages of development
- Ensure that child records are accurate, well-written and up-to-date, including learning plans, reports, observations, accident/incident forms etc
- Build relationships and functioning partnerships with the parents
- Ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children regardless of any disabilities, family backgrounds or medical history
- Ensure the maintenance of adequate standards of cleanliness and hygiene for the children attending the nursery. This ncludes changing nappies and toilet training
- Assist with serving and washing up the children’s lunches & snacks

CRITERIA
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and flexible
- A can-do attitude
- Strong communicator with both children and adults

REPORTING
- Reports to the nursery manager, or in their absence the deputy manager or most senior practitioner on site
- Enhanced DBS background check & 2 references required before employment commences

**Salary**: Varying depedant upon experience
