Our client, a well-established and forward thinking business based 10 miles outside of Norwich, are seeking a Management Accountant to join their talented team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified professional looking to build on existingskills within a progressive environment.

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner the purpose of this role is to support them in ensuring that insightful management information is delivered in an accurate and timely manner to meet internal deadlines.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Production of timely and accurate Management Accounts, with responsibility for management reporting
- Produce quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for relevant companies (including cashflow forecasting)
- Posting of monthly Journals including accruals and prepayments
- Provide margin analysis and commentary on results, along with providing explanations for any internal queries raised in relation to the accounts
- Variance analysis where required ensuring that variances to forecast/budget are adequately explained
- Meet Group reporting requirements
- Completion of monthly Balance sheet reconciliations (including intercompany accounts and transactions); flagging issues and communicate these to the Finance Business Partner
- Continual focus on improving reporting and accounts production process
- Management of the year-end process and assist in dealing with audit queries
- Prepare flash sales figures (mid-month and end of month)
- Completion of local tax compliance documents (where applicable)

Person Specification:

- ACA/ACCA/CIMA part or fully qualified preferred or Qualified by Experience
- Strong IT skills for communication and documentation
- Attention to detail
- Experience of multi-currency ledgers and foreign exchange an advantage
