**The Exciting Role**

When invigilation is taking place away from the main College site, invigilators will be able to claim mileage costs (provided they are covered for business use, on their insurance policy) and will be paid for preparation time.

**What You Will Be Doing**
- Organise the setting up examination venues by laying out stationery, equipment and examination papers in accordance with the outlined procedures
- Briefing the invigilation team within the examination room and assigning roles to the team throughout examinations
- Liaising with the Exams Team Leader/Exam Officer to bring issues to light immediately including any discrepancies or malpractice
- Ensuring the checking of identification and attendance during large scale examinations
- Answering any questions posed by JCQ or Awarding Body Inspectors with the advice of the Exams Team Leader/Exam Officer

**What We Are Looking For**:

- Experience of invigilating examinations
- Good level of English
- Experience of working or studying in an education environment
- Personal Skills and attitudes
- Effective oral/ written communication skills
- An understanding of examination processes as well as the ability to be patient
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to relate to students and teaching staff
