This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated, organised person, who likes to be active, to take responsibility for the delivery of vital medicines to wards and clinics throughout the acute hospital sites.

Prior hospital or pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential as all training will be provided on the job.

This role requires a highly motivated, organised, individual to lead on the delivery of medicines from pharmacy to the wards and clinics within the acute hospital site.

The role will require you to manage your own time in order to meet delivery deadlines. Accuracy, communication skills and organisation will be required to ensure efficiency in the delivery of vital medicines.

This role suits a physically active person as there is a significant amount of heavy lifting involved in the role. Manual handling equipment will be provided, and full training will be given in the use of the equipment and in the processes to be undertaken.

- To participate in surveys and audits as necessary in order to enable the Trust to meet its statutory requirements.
- To be aware of the Trust’s emergency planning processes and follow such processes as necessary, in the event of an unexpected incident.
