Jenson Fisher are delighted to be partnering with an excellent business based in Arbroath to recruit a Finance Assistant on a permanent, full time basis. Reporting into the Company Accountant, the Finance Assistant will be responsible for managing the financial records with precision and efficiency. In addition, you will play a key role in ensuring financial efficiency by accurately recording and reconciling financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing regular financial information as required.

On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Sage.
- Record and reconcile financial transactions, including invoices, expenses, and bank statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and submit timely VAT returns.
- Generate financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Collate time and attendance for payroll purposes.
- Perform general administrative tasks as required.

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have previous experience working in a similar role within a finance department. You will consider yourself strong using systems and consider your communication and organisational skills amongst your key strengths.
