**Software Developer**
Pertemps is delighted to be recruiting for our new prestigious client based in the heart of Stoke on Trent. An industry leader delivering operations, consulting and technology solutions across the risk and insurance value chain, they are currently searchingfor an experienced Scrum-based Software Developer.

**Duties and Responsibilities of this Software Developer role**:

- Development of software to agreed standards and methodologies
- Contribution of new ideas and best practice approach to solutions
- Actively work to eliminate bugs and tech debt
- Code Reviews

**Skills & Experience required for this Software Developer role**:
**Essential-**:

- Industry experience with C# and.NET (Framework / Core)
- Confidence to add to existing engineering practices and customs
- Knowledge of Service Orientated Architecture, Object Orientated Architecture, HTTP, REST

**Desirable-**:

- .NET Core, NET 5/6
- Micro services experience
- React.js
- Winforms / WCF
- Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Event driven architecture
- RESTful APIs
- Experience with Azure / AWS
- Azure DevOps / Git
- CI/CD development approaches
- ASP.NET / MVC
- SQL / NoSQL
- Automation
