Sports & Leisure Officer

Our local authority client based in East London are urgently seeking an experienced Sports & Leisure Officer.

**Job Role**

The Sport and Leisure Team are looking to recruit a Sport and Leisure Manager for a 3-month period. The successful applicant will be responsible for the development and improvement of community sport and physical activity participation levels across theborough. To make a major contribution to increasing access to sport, physical activity and other forms of active recreation by creating more opportunities for Waltham Forest residents to enhance their health and quality of life. To work with providers, partnersand other stakeholders to deliver innovative community sports and physical activity programmes with measurable health benefit outcomes. To procure, commission, review, monitor, evaluate and develop those services. To help manage sports ground, facilities andstaff and contractors that are responsible for those areas.
