Garment Technologist

**Garment Technologist - Maternity cover - minimum 12 months contract.**

Cotswold Collections is a highly successful mail order company, offering quality womenswear for a niche market. We have an exciting opportunity for a Garment Technologist/QC to join our busy product development department.

**About the role**
- You will be involved in multi-product sample development creating detailed tech packs.
- Processing fit comments and overseeing any technical and quality issues.
- Manage communication between internal teams and suppliers within the UK and overseas.
- Monitoring and managing sample and order progress and the critical path.
- Checking production packs and warehouse deliveries.
- Responsible for quality control and checking return rates.

**About you**
- Previous experience of working with multi product women’s wear
- Experienced in conveying comments and technical aspects including an understanding of fabric testing
- Competent IT skills including Word, Excel and some knowledge of Illustrator
- The ability to work to critical path deadlines
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Understanding of garment construction
- Ability to work independently and as a team player

Based on the outskirts of Cheltenham, this role is full time and office based
