**Position: Graduate Sports Assistant**

**Location: Grantham**

**Start Date: Easter Starting**

**Salary: £75 - £90 per day**

GSL Education are working with highly reputable, independent schools in
**Grantham**, to appoint Sports Graduates. This is a full-time/Part-time position starting this
**Easter**.

**Sports Graduate requirements**:

- Hold a degree related to Physical Education, or a Level 3 qualification with relevant experience.
- Have experience playing and coaching Netball and Hockey or Rugby.
- Be passionate about supporting young people and sharing your knowledge of physical education.
- Be able to inspire and motivate young people.
- Be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can engage with young people and build a trusting rapport with students.
- Be able to provide relevant references, including the last 2 years’ worth of employment.

**Sports Graduate job role**:

- To support the teaching of PE and Games, coaching and managing teams in the school’s major sports.
- Be an inspirational and enthusiastic coach, who will assist in the teaching of PE and Games and the coaching and management of teams.
- Coach and manage teams in your specialist area, Netball, Hockey or Rugby. Ideally, you will have played at a high level, such as in a college, university or first team squad.
- You should be knowledgeable about other sports, such as athletics, tennis, and football as you may be required to coach sports outside of your specialist area.
