Bartender/server

**Overview**:
The Taco Box, a vibrant and popular Mexican-inspired restaurant in Chichester, is on the lookout for a friendly and customer-focused Front of House Staff Member to join our team on a part-time basis.

As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests. A focus of your role will be running the bar, creating new cocktails and specials in conjunction with the managment team and serving tables as required on the evening. We are a small venue, so the ability to be flexible is essential in our operation. There may be exciting opportunities to work on our food truck and pop up bar too.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Welcome and greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Take and process customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- **Food Truck Operations**:

- Participate in operating the food truck during events and festivals (training will be provided).
- Assist with setting up and dismantling the food truck as needed.
- Engage with customers at the food truck and maintain a high level of service.
- **Drink Service**:

- Create an serve drinks, including non-alcoholic beverages and cocktails.
- Maintain a good knowledge of the drink menu and make recommendations to customers.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with kitchen and other front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- **Flexibility**:

- Be available to work weekends and evenings as the main part of the schedule.
- Adapt to the needs of the restaurant and be willing to assist in various tasks.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant environment
- At least 2 years bartending experience
- A passion for providing exceptional service and creating positive customer experiences.
- Basic knowledge of cocktails is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £10.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
