**DUCTWORK - FITTERS MATE**

**Key responsibilities/accountabilities**:

- Assist with the Installation of ductwork according to job order specifications, whilst always adhering to the job specific RAMS.
- Liaising with the Lead Fitter on all updates made to the project manager on progress and status of the job.
- With support, learn how to read and understand drawings.
- Maintain tools and equipment alongside Lead Fitter.
- Understand and adhere to Health & Safety protocols at all times.
- Liaise with customers/clients and other site contractors in a professional manner.
- Assist with measuring and forming specialty pieces when the job requires.
- Attend relevant internal and external training events.

**Person Specification**

**Essential Knowledge & Skills Required**:

- Strong communication in clear & concise English.
- Numerate, with good comprehension skills to read and understand drawings & plans.
- Good listening and questioning skills to gain full understanding of instructions.
- Ability to work with others to resolve a problem, to find the most appropriate solution.
- Work well under pressure and remain calm.
- Full Driving license.

**Desirable Knowledge and Skills Required**:

- Knowledge of HVAC or Construction
- NVQ in Ductwork
- CSCS
- PASMA
- IPAF

**Location of Job**
The job is based at Scott Heating & Ventilation Limited Unit 5 Brookside Industrial Estate, Sawtry, Cambridgeshire, PE28 5SB but will require travel to Client sites.

**Lines of Authority**
Responsible to Lead Fitter and Project Manager

**Hours of Work**
40 hours per week (with 30 minutes unpaid for lunch).

**Salary**
£12.00 Per Hour

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
