**Role Overview**:As part of a team of teachers and coaches you will provide coaching predominately in the major termly sports of hockey, netball and cricket, with some athletics during the school’s Games programme. You will also assist with the selection of school teams and supporting and officiating at the fixtures which take place on match days. The majority of this work will be with pupils in the Prep School (Years 3-8), but with a small proportion involving pupils from our Pre-Prep School.
You will report to the Director of Sport.
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Coach hockey, netball and cricket to a high level in term time to children aged 7-13.
- Assist in the selection of school teams and the administration and organisation of school teams.
- Support, attend and officiate at fixtures, by mutual agreement with the Director of Sport.
- Assist other colleagues to enhance the Games provision at Vinehall School.
- Write weekly match reports and team reports for the school magazine annually.
Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Friday - 11.00am-12.30pm and 1.00pm-5.20pm
Wednesday and Thursday - 1.00pm-5.00pm
**Salary**: £15.00-£17.50 per hour.

- Display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.
Desirable:
- Hold coaching qualifications in relevant sports.
- Have referee experience/qualifications in relevant sports.
- Be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of coaching techniques.
- Be able to work within organisational procedures and meet the required standards for the role.
- Be committed to continual personal and professional development and be reflective and able to learn from past experience.
- Be resilient and demonstrate an ability to work well under pressure.

**Salary**: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
