**Contract**: Permanent
40 weeks per year based around term times
**Hours**: Full time, 37 hours per week
**FTE salary**: £27,852 - £ 29,439 per annum
**Holidays**: equivalent 12 weeks per academic year

**We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and effective Attendance Improvement Officer Working in line with DfE regulations, and within a wider Student Support team to administer, monitor and report on whole school attendance; analysing data to identify key areas of concern, and implementing strategies to improve student attendance.**
**We are looking for someone who**:
- Can take responsibility for the administration, monitoring and reporting of student attendance.
- Willing to work with parents/carers, and colleagues within the Student Support team, to promote excellent attendance through the monitoring and analysis of patterns and trends leading to the identification of barriers to school attendance.
- Can plan and agree strategies to target improvements in student attendance, including for those who are persistently absent.
