**Location**: Sunderland

**Salary**: Depending on experience.

**Job Type**:Full Time - Permanent. 8-hour Day shift, Monday to Friday.

**The Role**:
We have a job opportunity available for an experienced Draughtsman/woman to join our expanding team based in Washington. This is a full-time role which has been created due to the growth of the business.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Produce accurate CAD drawing for client approval.
- Progress drawings from preliminary stage to completion.
- Attend design meetings internally and externally.
- Manage the project and advise production manager on fabrication needs.
- Produce pressed metal and bracket worksheets.
- Liaise with architects and other design teams.
**In order to be successful, you will have the following**:

- Experience of aluminium façade including Curtain wall, doors & windows essential
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- CAD 3D or AutoCAD experience.
- Experience of Metaltech, Senior & Technal systems or similar.
- Ability to liaise with all internal and external parties.
- Technically very strong.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work loads
- Ability to produce drawings from a provisional to construction status, via communication with architects & contractor.
- Can read architect, steel & cladding drawings, and see any potential issues.
- Produce drawing adaptions for fabrication & site fitting
**Skills/Experience**:

- Technically competent.
- Self-motivated with a strong wort ethic.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- AutoCAD: 3 years (preferred)
- Architectural & Civil Designers: 3 years (preferred)
