The Role

As Talent Engagement Partner you will play a key role in collaborating with the Executive Hiring Director to lead and deliver a best-in-class Executive Hiring strategy, delivery and experience for the Diageo senior leadership team. The role will be responsible for leading and driving senior executive search assignments directly and where necessary working with external search partners to drive seamless search processes.

Role Responsibilities- Partner with the Executive Hiring Director to define and implement an Executive Talent Engagement approach which ensures quality of leadership appointments through direct sourcing as well as some working with external search firms-
- Drive external executive search firms to produce the most outstanding leadership talent which meet Diageo’s leadership standards- Drive the Inclusion & Diversity agenda to support the business in achieving its 2030 Spirit of Progress goals through the creation of innovative and creative sourcing strategies- Partner with senior executives and HR Directors across the business to define the executive talent requirements and supporting approach for each area of the business- Build credibility and strong advisory relationships with key senior level internal partners through sharing insightful market intelligence and proactively identifying industry issues that will affect hiring across in the regions- Approach and source key senior leaders and external sources where appropriate to develop a comprehensive pipeline of outstanding talentExperience- Strong executive search experience gained in a fast-paced, global context. Knowledge in of consumer goods is advantageous- Deep knowledge of executive level hiring gained in a large, complex global organisation or executive search firm- Track record of bringing an Inclusion & Diversity strategy to life through the executive talent agenda- Understanding and experience of delivering best-in-class search strategies- Credible at the most senior levels, with experience of partnering senior stakeholders- Ability to build strong, credible relationships both inside and outside of the organisation- Excellent people insights and talent judgement- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines
