Interim Data Analyst

**Interim Data Analyst| London (Hybrid Working) |£22 - £24 per hour |3 month +**

**Client**:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a public sector organisation in South London, to recruit an Interim Data Analyst to join a growing and extremely supportive procurement function.

The organisation operates a hybrid working policy requiring on site presence three times per week.

This position would suit an individual with extensive Excel skills, strong analytical acumen, and an ability to produce reports.

**Role**:

- Responsible for maintaining procurement catalogue systems and information to ensure strong and beneficial contract management, maintaining system validity and version control
- Responsible for capturing data, developing models (e.g. spend cubes, waterfall reports, etc.) and presenting spend data to allow the Category Management team to develop category strategies
- Responsible for working with the procurement team to ensure that all analysis can allow informed decision-making on sourcing and procurement activities and in identifying and quantifying savings opportunities
- Develop reports and analytical outputs based on existing systems and processes where possible to report on agreed KPIs agreed with the Head of Data, Business Intelligence & systems and the Director of Procurement (Operations).
- Lead on the collation, collection, validation, and verification of spend, and other related, data to support the use of internal and external spend analysis tools or to support tendering / contracting activities

**The individual**:

- Advanced Excel knowledge, and data interpretation skills
- Experience of using databases and analytical tools
- Immediate availability
