Our Great Dunmow based client is seeking a enthusiastic 1st or 2nd jobber who is keen to learn a manufacturing position and become a **Trainee Manufacturing Operative** who will learn the business.
Do you have a keen " CAN DO " learning attitude with ability to adopt practical tasks ? All the necessary training will be provided in all areas of the manufacturing factory over a period of time.
This interesting role includes the following tasks:>
- Goods receiving & product loading and dispatching
- Cutting extrusion to specific dimensions to suit bespoke enclosures.
- Use drills and hydraulic air compressed saws
- Checking quality of glass to strict standards
- Packing of bespoke glass
- Measuring glass to dimensions read from a drawing
- Stock movements and counting
- Dis-assembly and reassembly of parts
- Pack goods ready for dispatch and onward delivery
- Clean and maintain work areas and machinery
**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 4pm with 30 minutes lunch break (Xmas they close for two weeks)
No weekends
