The role of the Draughtsperson - Steel Structures will involve:

- Draughtsperson position dealing with the design and manufacture of steel framing, steel purlins, side rails and mezzanine floor systems
- Review and interpret technical drawings provided by clients
- Creating and developing comprehensive drawings and schedules for production and installation
- Producing 2D drawings for the shop floor
- Liaising regularly with Production, Design and Buying departments regularly to provide updates on projects
- Ensuring that works are completed to the agreed timescale, meet the client’s requirements and are in line with the initial quotation

The ideal applicant will be a Draughtsperson - Steel Structures with:

- Must have AutoCAD experience
- Ideally will have draughtsperson / designer experience within the construction industry
- Ideally experienced in associated products to steel structures, steel framing, side rails, mezzanines, SFS, purlins, dry liningcladding, rainscreen cladding, glazing, glass, curtain walling, doors & windows or other building envelope related systems

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High attention to detail
- Organised, team player with the ability to work autonomously
