An exciting opportunity has arisen for an RTT Validators to join the T&O Performance Team for 37.5 to cover maternity leave. (12 Months)

The role will be based at Wrightington Hospital.

The successful post holder will be
- The Validation team are responsible for ensuring that the timeline data for patients on the waiting lists is accurate and appropriately reflects the patients’ current position on the pathway. This role requires liaison with colleagues across the Trust from all disciplines and supports excellent clinical service to the patients.
- Proficient in the use of internet and Microsoft Office systems
- Able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, together with an ability to prioritise their workload and work well under pressure, using their own initiative.

On-Call

Please note that senior positions (AFC band 8A or above) may be expected to participate in an on-call rota, if the role is predominantly operational
- To uphold the Trust’s Values - Excellent, Compassionate, Respectful
- To have a good working knowledge and understanding of the Trust’s Patient Access Policy and the 18 week RTT National Standards
- To ensure that data is validated at all points on the patients’ pathways in line with the departmental work plan and priorities.
- To use and update multiple clinical information systems and databases to understand and track the patient pathways
- To proactively monitor and track 18 Week referrals in order to ensure that patient journeys are processed in a timely and efficient manner in line with nationally and locally defined targets.
