New Car Vehicle Inspector

**Location**: Stallingborough, DN41

**Hours of work**: 8am until 5pm Monday to Friday

**Pay rate**: £10.42 per hour

**The Role**: We are seeking a full time Vehicle Inspector to join the Technical Services division at their newly developed vehicle preparations centre based in Stallingborough.

**The duties will include**:

- Completing a short road test on the vehicle to identify any major issues (includes excessive noise or rattling engine noises)
- Carry out vehicle QC inspection following set of company procedures (checking oil, fluids, warning lights, visual under bonnet and wheel nuts check
- Other ad-hoc duties may be required

**Skills and experience required**:

- Previous experience in inspecting vehicles either cosmetically or mechanically (required)
- Full UK Driving Licence (you will be required to test both automatic and manual cars)
- Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of good / bad vehicle “feel” when driving
- You will need to work independently on vehicles and have experience to make decisions when required
- Excellent attention to detail
