Roof Truss Designer

Interaction is recruiting for an ambitious and driven roof Truss Designer for our client based in Thrapston.
This position will combine the estimating and designing of roof trusses and engineered floor joists.
**Duties**:

- Liaison with your customers and responding to technical queries
- Production accurate quotations and designs
- You will have strong links with the production team to ensure they are provided with the relevant information for manufacturing.
You will be confident in offering technical advice and ensuring accurate and timely information is available to the manufacturing team. You must achieve sales and margin targets.
Roof Truss Designer Position Requirements
- You have at least 5 years experience in designing roof trusses or joists
- You are familiar with specialist design software, ideally Mitek or similar
- You are strong on detail and accuracy with excellent communication and project management skills, ideally with customers such as house builders, building contractors etc
- You have relationships with buyers and/or technical departments of housebuilders
