A leading manufacturer is looking for a Business Planning professional, with manufacturing experience to work closely with the Planning team at their flagship site in Manchester. This company is a market leading manufacturer, and this role offers excellentscope for further development and growth within a great industry. This is a progressive business, valuing investment into processes, staff, training & development across all departments

**Role Description**
- To work with planning manager and customer service in order to collate and accurately configure the forecast data in line with adding it to the strategic plan
- To collate the capacity and loading for the next five years to provide the data to collate a strategic business plan
- To work with planning manager and departments to provide strategic business data to help build a strategic business plan
- To help ascertain the machine capacity and demand planning to help with peaks and troths within the business and recognise with the premise of improvement
- To help produce reports for monitoring the forecast with the demand planner on short term accuracies and long-term capacities
- To understand the site limitations and footprint of the site to understand the "fit" of new capacity
- Liaising and continuously monitoring the plan to evolve where business needs are
- Liaising with departments to achieve continuous improvements throughout and to deliver a KPI on new machines/pack lines and tooling's so we can monitor the progress of development
- To understand business, aims and goals and to work with departments on best practices and reporting.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Experienced within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Well versed working with systems, strong excel skillset
- Experience with MRP systems is desired
- Ability to manage large volumes of data
- Ability to work effectively within a close-knit team, willingness to learn
