Brunello Bar and Restaurant with its charming terrace perfectly fuses contemporary décor with tradition. Inspired by the Milanese trattorias of the 1950s, the restaurant offers guests the opportunity to sample Italian cuisine in a truly luxurious setting.

The hotel also features the Baglioni SPA and Gym with natural daylight as well as meeting space for business gatherings and social events. The luxurious Kensington Suite Meeting Room sets the stage for the perfect board meeting, dinner, cocktail or symposium, with natural daylight and a capacity for 60 guests. In addition, Clubino is the ideal venue for private dining, cocktail parties and dancing for up to 180 guests.

**The Role**

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Brunello Restaurant and Bar on a full-time basis. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to cater, deliver and exceed our guests’ needs and expectations by providing the highest levels of personalised five-star customer service.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Waiter/Waitress responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following tasks and performances:

- To build rapport confidently with guests;
- To serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests;
- To answer questions on menu selections and communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions;
- To support all the team and provide unforgettable experiences to our guests;
- To maintain cleanliness of all work areas throughout the day;
- To communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen;
- To inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use;
- To monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned tables including ensuring courses are cleared and tables are properly crumbed;
- To communicate with guests and other colleagues and ensure staff is working together as a team to guarantee optimum service;
- To be immaculately presented, attentive and proactive with the ability to respond quickly to our guests’ needs;
- To ensure that licensing laws and health and safety matters are adhered to.

**The successful Waiter/Waitress will**:

- Have at least 2 years’ experience within a luxury environment;
- Have previous Waiter/Waitress experience is essential;
- Be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Italian language proficiency will be considered advantageous. Knowledge of other languages will be of advantage.
- Have strong communication and customer service skills.
- Be passionate about ensuring a delightful experience for clients and guests alike.
- Be an excellent team player with exceptional eye for detail.
- Have a proven background of working under pressure.
