My client is a leading charity retailer, with a large store portfolio across the breadth of the UK. We are currently recruiting for a newly created opportunity to join them in the role of Senior Ecommerce Warehouse Manager_._

The Senior Ecommerce Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the charities new Ecommerce Warehouse. This includes people management, including leading and developing a new team. Inventory and asset management. And the continuousimprovement of all processes with a focus on driving efficiencies. The role will also lead on ensuring best-in-class health and safety at the site.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Health and safety across the warehouse operation, working closely with the organisations Health and Safety department.
- Overall accountability for process design and continuous improvement to optimise workflow and revenue.
- Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for all colleagues and drive the delivery of these through the Warehouse Lead and Online Sales Manager roles.
- Accountable for maximising efficiencies and minimising waste including any unsaleable stock.
- Overall accountability for the security of colleagues, stock, and equipment at the site.
- Accountability for managing the building, including security, H&S and maintenance.
- Overall accountability for the management of all inventory on the premises. Including establishing and maintaining effective inventory management of the organisations bought in goods and donated stock
- Accountability for the accurate and on time fulfilment of customer orders. As well as new goods and donated product to retail stores.
- Lead and motivate ecommerce hub colleagues to achieve maximum productivity and engagement.
- Ensure all Hub colleagues are fully inducted and trained to action their respective roles. And subsequently receive supervision to drive colleague performance and engagement.
- Accountable for ensuring that the scheduling of colleagues is efficient and maximises capacity and costs.

**Experience and skills required**:

- Demonstrable experience of managing a warehouse, including leading people, and managing process, assets, and inventory.
- Extensive experience in the logistics, distribution, and supply chain industry.
- Experience of setting and managing KPIs
- Extensive knowledge and experience of implementing health & safety procedures, including risk assessments and compliance.
- Demonstrable successful implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within a warehouse.
- Demonstrable experience of scaling up a new operation
- Experience of successfully collaborating with internal support functions including Finance, HR, IT, Property, Procurement and H&S.
- It would be highly advantageous to hold a continuous improvement qualification (Lean, Kaizen or similar) and/or have experience of using ecommerce platforms, e.g., Shopiago, eBay
