**School Administrator with SEN Experience - Greenwich**

Our client is seeking an experienced School Administrator with specialized knowledge in SEN to join their administrative team. **REQUIREMENTS**:

- Proven experience in school administration, with a focus on supporting students with special education needs.
- In-depth understanding of SEN policies, procedures, and best practices
- familiarity with relevant legislation, such as the individuals with disabilities education act or education, health and care plans
- strong organisational skills and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, with a compassionate and patient approach
- Proficiency in office software and technology, including database management and student information systems.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide administrative support to the SEN department, including maintaining accurate records of student progress, assessments, and interventions.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of individualized education plans and other support strategies for students with SEN.
- Liaise with teachers, support staff and external professionals to facilitate the provisions of appropriate accommodations and resources for students with diverse learning needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding their child’s SEN support, progress, and interventions.
- Support the SENDCO in the administration of SEN-related paperwork and documentation.
- contribute to the development and review of school policies and procedures related to SEN provision.
- collaborate with colleagues to crate an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students, regardless of their individual needs.

**JOB TYPE**: Full Time

**SALARY**:£34,502 - £44,756 per annum

**SCHEDULE**:Monday to Friday
