ENGIE are recruiting for a Senior Debt Recovery Coordinator to be based in Leeds. This is a permanent full time role working 37 hours per week. Working is flexible in relation to office attendance (1-2 days per week) and standard office hours (8:30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 4:30pm Friday) are expected. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

The Post holder will be responsible for the management of overdue debt through the internal and external legal process.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Start of process by informing customers by letter of our intention to disconnect
- Quality checking of letters, PDV and warrant files and other general tasks as and when required
- Liaise with the external agents on a daily basis if required
- Overseeing and managing the warrants process
- Assist in providing support to the Debt Recovery (Disconnections) team with complex queries
- To mentor/support others within the Debt Recovery Team with any training / development areas

**Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications required**:

- Proven ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Able to manage conflicting priorities
- Ability to handle difficult customers
- Ability to handle complex queries
- Knowledge of the energy industry is desirable
- Ideally a period of practical experience working in a collections department.
- For this role, you must have evidence of the right to work in the UK. There is no re-location package offered with this role._
