The Chief Risk Office function (CROF) has Group-wide responsibility for the management and control of all credit, market, operational, enterprise and liquidity risks and has the responsibility of continual development of methods for risk measurement, frameworks and creating a Bank wide strong risk culture. Deutsche Bank has been named ‘Bank Risk Manager of the Year’ by the leading publication risk.net for the second consecutive year (2020 and 2021).

The CROF has Group-wide responsibility for the management and control of all credit, market, operational, enterprise and liquidity risks and has the responsibility of continual development of methods for risk measurement, frameworks and creating a Bank wide strong risk culture.

As Model Risk Control and Product Tagging Specialist, you will be responsible for, liaising with senior stakeholders in Front Office trading, Pricing Analytics, Strats and model validation to progress strategic initiatives to remediate critical regulatory issues, approve the set-up of new products, and lead the build out of preventative controls for model risk control. Enforce tight model risk control environment to adhere to Bank wide model risk appetite.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Oversight of Run the Bank processes for model risk controls including product model usage, model parameters and model reserves calculations across the whole Bank’s trades portfolio
- Working with Trading, Strats and Model Risk Management to remediate legacy issues to improve the Model Risk Control environment
- Oversight of the product validation logic for new products in terms of the features on the trades and ensuring validation controls are in line with new product creation
- Developing your technical expertise to ensure you have the knowledge to face-off against technical experts in divisions outside of valuation control
- Facing off against regulators to present existing control framework as well as future enhancements

**Your skills and experience**
- Previous experience working with banking products and understanding how they are booked
- Experience in dealing with Front Office business leaders and Regulators on critical issues
- Experience in Pricing and modelling of derivative products
- Knowledge and understanding front-to-back architecture of Investment Banks
- Programming experience in Python, C++, and SQL an advantage
