Fence Erector

We are seeking a skilled Fence Erectors and to join our team. As a Fence Erector, you will be responsible for installing security and accoustic fencing on commercial sites. If you have experience in fencing we encourage you to apply.

We offer training discounts on CPCS, Lantra, CITB (sssts) CSCS, Ipaf and FISS qualifications under contact.

The work undertaken would be on commercial construction sites and highways.

Applicants must have a positive attitude and outlook towards working in a manual environment.

Site hours expected are from 7am to 4.30pm

Applicants will either have use of a company van if they are a lead fencer or will have provided if the meet a a central location or live in a catchment area for local pick up.

**Duties**:

- Measure and mark out boundaries and fence lines to ensure accurate fence installation
- Dig post holes using hand tools or powered equipment
- Set posts in concrete or other secure foundations
- Install fence panels using appropriate fasteners
- Ensure fences are level, plumb, and properly aligned
- Cut materials to size using power saws or other cutting tools
- Fabricate custom fence sections as needed
- Install gates and gate hardware
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

**Skills**:

- Proficient in using hand tools.
- Experience with power tools such as drills, saws.
- Experience and or qualifications using excavators, telehandlers, dumpers etc would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of basic carpentry techniques for fence construction
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or fence plans
- Understanding of masonry principles for securing fence posts
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and alignment

A Driving licence will be required for this job.

**Salary**: £120.00-£170.00 per day
