Responsibilities / Position overview:
We are seeking an Associate Director of Qualitative Research to join the qualitative research team within our Insights department. This role lies within our greater Asset Optimization and Commercialization division, which serves our clients by enabling them to optimize the value and impact of their assets by developing comprehensive commercial strategy, providing powerful insights and consulting expertise.

**Purpose of Role**:
**Core Job Responsibilities**:

- To maintain and build key accounts to generate revenue and drive growth and profitability
- To actively lead multiple projects and deliver client research solutions to build client satisfaction
- To provide effective leadership and management to motivate and develop direct reports and work teams
- To be an integral part of the management and leadership of Insight to add value to the Company
- To maintain and build client relationships in order to contribute to sales growth and the achievement of agreed targets
- To lead or co-lead 3 - 4 key accounts to maintain and build existing client relationships and develop repeat business - act as key client contact
- To seek and develop new business opportunities and clients, and generate 1 new business account per year, working with the BD Director as appropriate
- To stay alert to market changes, customer information and competitor intelligence to ensure competitive advantage

**To actively lead multiple projects and deliver innovative client research solutions to build client satisfaction**:

- To manage and own projects - lead (with occasional support) multiple client projects from initial brief to delivery of final results
- To provide leadership, creativity and flair to the design, fieldwork, analysis, interpretation and presentation of research projects
- To ensure research projects are successfully implemented through effective overview, performance of tasks and teamwork
- To oversee and manage effective budgeting and financial control of projects to ensure profitability in line with company strategy
- To continue to develop research skills and build areas of expertise and excellence
- To drive innovation, to identify & improve research standards and bring new concepts and services for client projects and the Asset Optimization and Commercialization group
- To provide effective leadership and management to motivate and develop direct reports and work teams
- To lead direct reports, research and project teams, working within the framework of the Asset Optimization and Commercialization leadership behaviors to facilitate career development and to support motivation and performance
- To mentor, train and coach team members and colleagues (RA, RE, SRE, Account Managers and Account Directors)
- To manage workload and resource distribution within and across project teams, and within matrix team structure
- To provide direction and plan the development of team members, model best practice and share expertise
- To enhance team performance, through setting objectives, conducting appraisals and providing routine feedback for team members

**To provide effective leadership and management to motivate and develop direct reports and work teams**
- To lead direct reports, research ‘colour teams’ and project teams, working within the framework of the Lumanity Leadership Behaviours to facilitate career development and to support motivation and performance
- To mentor, train and coach team members and colleagues (RA, RE, SRE, Acc Mgrs and Acc Dirs)
- To manage workload and resource distribution within and across project teams, and within matrix team structure
- To provide direction and plan the development of team members, model best practice and share expertise
- To enhance team performance, through setting objectives, conducting appraisals and providing routine feedback for team members
