Home Instead Huntingdon_ _is owned by Cheryn Rook who has worked with elderly and disabled people for over 20 years. We cover St Neots, Huntingdon, Kimbolton, Sawtry, Somersham and the surrounding smaller villages and we are looking for compassionate homecare workers with morning availability that want to make a difference in our community.
**Job Description**:
- At Home Instead Huntingdon we pride ourselves in valuing the importance of individuals and reliable one-to-one care. We have part time vacancies available for mornings, evenings and weekends.
Our hours are flexible and so this position can fit very nicely around the existing commitments you have. Perhaps you are a retiree that has no desire to retire? Maybe you’re a mother with children about to fly the nest into adulthood? No matter what stage of life you are in, if you care, we want to hear from you
**Care Professional Benefits**:
- ** Excellent pay rates - **from £10.50 - £11.50 plus and enhanced rate of £21.00 for working bank holidays
- ** We have work available in the morning from 7am and in the evening from 5pm and on alternate weekends. **All work is based on part time hours, ranging from 10 to 35 hours.
- ** Minimum 1 hour calls**_ _**- so you have the time needed with client

**Responsibilities**:
Being a Care Professional is an essential role supporting older people to live well at home. With the support of our team and industry leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high-quality care Home Instead has become known for.
Here’s what you could be doing:
- Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
- Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework
- Accompanying to appointments or shopping
- Supporting clients to complete their morning and evening routines
